Easiest things to try.

A lower rear roll center (go to mid lower) and see if this is the right path.
Higher front roll center (mid)
or front diff a bit tighter
Or inner camber rise position

Any of these will creat a more stable rear.
The camber link will have a big effect on agility of the car, and you may lose too much in the hairpins.

Me too. I hope I'll be awake enough to give you guys a tough time!
I'll try and give some tech seminar if people are interested. So think about possible subjects.

I have a question about getting the gearing and tire size right for proper handling. I was told to cut my front tires 1 mm smaller than the rear. Now, I do know that under normal race use, the rear will grind down; but what is the proper size to gearing for almost a 50/50 front/rear drive ratio ? My math is telling me that I should have a 1.5mm difference between front and rear tires.
I would appreciate any input to this matter.

BTW, This applies to non center one way equipped cars.

The USA kit (I'm not sure about the others) came with a supplemental sheet that has the clutch gap info for all the major brands of motors currently available. It's a very good starting point and helps a lot especially if you are using different brands of motors.

Has anyone ever run the Serpent truck body (#170027) and does anyone know of any store that stock these in U.S.?

We're thinking about starting a class with these at our track.

Here's the supplemental sheet I was talking about. It came with the USA kit I got last August 2006.

This is to be used with the hard clutch spring (also came with the USA kit). You may need the manual to follow the instructions on how to setup the end play, etc.
Hope this helps .
