i like the aluminum shock bodies... no more composite.. although it's not like there's any problem with the composite anyway.
the rear end looks really good.
when is this beauty gonna be available to public again?

The front belt looks pretty long or does it the same with older 710? The rear end looks complicated but great job on the rear camber link and upright. In my opinion its still difficult to adjust the LSN.

From XTREME RC CARS
Serpent Announces New 720

Posted on Thursday, June 01, 2006 at 12:26 PM by DerekB

Serpent is a name that you say to somebody that races on-road they immediately recognize. They have been dominating the black top for as longs as pavement has been made. Nitro Touring may not be as popular as it should be in the US, but that doesn't stop the die-hards from demanding better cars and Serpent hopes to deliver with their all-new 200mm race chassis, the Serpent 720. Based on the ultra successful Serpent 710, the car has been extensively tested on many different track conditions to ensure the best overall performance.

The 720 features the following major enhancements:
- Wider sweet spot makes for easier setup
- Easier assembly
- Front & rear factory assembled gear differentials
- Optimised geometry
- Pre-assembled RCC shock absorbers
- Improved features throughout

The debut race for this new chassis will take place on two separate continents on the same weekend, June 16-18. In Europe the 720 will be seen in action at the EFRA GP in the Netherlands whilst in North America the 720 will be competing at the US Nationals in Crystal Park Raceway, California.

thank you very much, you made my day now all i have to do is wait again for the release date

Well guys the car looks awsome and very promissing compared to the 710,we are finishing the team kits Serpent USA will be running at the Sedan Nats in california and the car is very easy to build and work with "YOU ARE THE MAN RENE"

As far as the parts that fit the new car from the 710 are the following,CVD set,Front/Side/Rear belts,Front upper Arms,Sway bar front and the levers,Steering knuckles, mid bearing block, battery and tray, fuel tank, radio tray support bracket, clutch and trans(pinions and spurs),rear dogbones, plus all bearings are all the same, and some other part but these are really the basics,i hope this will help the soon to be owners of the new Serpent 720

An even wider sweet spot for easier setup ? I thought the 710 series had already had a wide sweet spot, though. Hope that it woulnd't turn like Picco cars that were pretty much one setup for all kinds of tracks.

hi guys.. it's good to see that some of 710 parts will fit in 720 since I have two 710's what will be the advantage of rear camber links over 710's rear uprights?

Is the rear body mount free from rear shock tower, are they separated?
