Setup 720 Ft Myers

Hi Guys,

Attached you will find the setup i use at the race. It is pretty much the same we had posted at the race. We basically change the front springs.

Please don't hesitate in asking any question. I may take a little to answer but i will try my best

Happy Racing and Enjoy

Hi Paolo,

Am I correct in assuming that this is your qualifying setup sheet? What shore tires and tire sizes did you use for the mains?

Thanks!

Hi Paiolo,

I see the ride height was 7.5 on the setup wheels. What was the ride height with the tires on?

Thanks
Gael

Hi rmdhawaii, yes this is qualifying setup. The final i used exactly the same, but i start 64mm rear and 63 front.

Hey, i see you have a nice Mugen and Kyosho info base. When are you going to do the Serpent one?

With 60mm rear is 5.5mm. Never change the ride height. I set mine to 4mm with 57mm tires.
You must set your ride with the smallest tires you think you will run and then you just cut the tire size you want depending if is a short or long race.

Paolo

Wow, Purple front spring. I am using Blue and people said I am crazy
Did you want to take away steering but then you have the front shock on the lowest position! Can you please explain why you made this set up?

tks

Hi Paolo, congratulation on your excellent participation in the WinNat.

Just for curiosity, what chassis did you use in the WintNat.

And what was your Front & Rear Track with.

Thanks

Kitracer: this year Winternats was a little bit different. Between the rain and constant changing track condition, we had to addapt to the situation. First days i was running blue in the front. Then the track changed a lot and actually i was looking for more reaction and initial steering, but less steering in the middle and out of the corner, and the purple spring was able to give me this effect.

Rcpanama: Thanks; I use the new chassis milled down 1 mm They should be in next week (part # SUS803191) Track width was 199.5 rear and 198 front
