Default Nice old Serpent 1:8 Hope it doesn't bite me $$$$

I bought a car the other day and now comes the fun part. The stickers on the body and bumper say it is a Serpent Sprint 1:8 scale on road but who knows.
All in all it doesn't seem too bad. A few rusty screws and some parts missing but I think I can restore it to near original.
I was wondering if anyone could help me as I need to find an instruction sheet/manual for it and then some parts. Parts are difficult as I have no numbers or the like and the car is old. The screws should be easily obtainable from the local fastener store. It doesn't seem to have a radio compartment/box but this could be design. I also need a front and rear belts as the existing ones are sooooo loose.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Wally

there was a NIB 6020 short wheel base car floating around here for sale a while back.

The screw on part on the right with the snake on it is where the rec is mounted, I have an old parts cataloge And think this kit is in there. I'll dig it out just in case I can help

yep yep. sprint 6020

I dont have a manual for these but i do have an exploded parts view for the older 6000 serie

There are a couple other fellas on here with these cars too, they may be able to help with a manual.

The good is, these cars are built like tanks. look at those half shafts however, the front damper linkage breaks easily

Very cool car Walthor. How is it coming along?

I bought the Sprint 6000 a few years back from ebay. I put mine on a shelf till I found a guy selling front bumpers for it. I might have found the bumper much faster if I had the part number for it. (part 6121 if U ever need one)

Did you ever find an instruction manual for it?

Thank you
