You have to have 10 of any class to make this race. In the open 1/10 class we can let 200 and 235 mm run together. If you can find that many people who want to run that class we will.

No, this is what everyone is trying to convey to you:

You will need 10 people to run the outlaw 1/10th scale class. If you can get 10 people total, whether they are all 235mm cars, 200mm outlaw cars, or a combination of the two, then they will allow the class to run. If not, then you will either have to find a 1/10th scale touring car or an 1/8th scale car if you want to run in the Biggie.

JLock is correct. As you have read above we lowered the entry fee and reduced the second, third entry even further. We just want to get as many people as possible to come and see for themselves how good the track is now. Since we are allowing you to enter up to 3 entries (any combination) per person you may find there are enough people out there who still have these cars that will run it as a second choice. If you can't get a full heat your money will be refunded. Your best bet is to sign up for one of the designated classes and "write in" the 1/10 open as a second choice.

Post Covered Pit Rentals

We are making a limited number of spaces available under the covered pits for local racers who want to bring their own table and chair. The price will be discounted and are very limited. See the quotation below for more information:

Covered Pit Rentals

The covered pits are finished and ready. We will have AC power available starting with the Biggie and beyond. Also, the standing seam metal roof has been finished on the drivers stand and we have painted the drivers stand pit tables and scoring sheet boards.

For the SWCS 04/29-30 we will have the following for rent:
32 spots @30x48 and 1 chair (this is half of an 8 foot table the same as we have had in the past under the tent for Biggie and Nationals).
Cost for weekend rental: $25

18 spots @30x72 you bring your own table and chair (this spot is for a standard 6 foot table which most of you have and keep in mind you are limited to that size and area).
Cost for weekend rental is $20
As of today we have 5 of these spots already reserved.

For the SWCS you can e-mail your reservation to [email protected] and bring payment to the track.

For the Texas Biggie 05/26-29 we will have the following for rent:
38 spots @30x48 and 1 chair (this is half of an 8 foot table the same as we have had in the past under the tent for Biggie and Nationals).
Cost for 4 day event rental: $35
As of today, we have 5 of these spots reserved

15 spots @30x72 you bring your own table and chair (this spot is for a standard 6 foot table which most of you have and keep in mind you are limited to that size and area).
Cost for 4 day event rental is $25
As of today we have 1 of these spots already reserved.

For the Texas Biggie you must mail in your reservation and fee with the entry form.

We look forward to seeing you soon.

Not exactly sure which hobby shop you're referring to...Issac's (spelling?) went out business several years ago. Mike's Hobby Shop in Porter (North of Houston) recently built a very nice facility. Mike's has joined the Southwest Championship Series and has already hosted one national race (Speedline Grand Prix).

Default Coverd pits

Electric power was installed in the coverd pits today and the P.A. system will be upgraded Sunday. We also installed a second loop for race management.

FYI, the second loop was added just before the entrance to pit lane. We now have the ability to use one loop for qualifying and then the second loop can be used for the mains. The flame out leaving pit lane is no longer an issue.
