First he says he is a RC Tech at a hobby shop. Yet puts rubber slicks on a car thats says right on the box to use foams. Has regular sport bodies for selection.

But I kinda thought this was funny as I was reading it with my replies. So here it goes.

-HPI R40
Yup

-THS Tuned Racing Pipe
Budget

-Fantom FR .12 racing engine
Says its better than the os 12....which one the cv-r ,lol

-Ofna Racing Aluminum Threaded Shocks with teflon coated shock bodies
I bet hara used these too.....lollolol

-One Way Diff front end
Perfect for that parking-lot you thought you were owning up.

-Hara Spec Light Weight 2 Speed Tranny
Can you say hpi option part , not hara thanks.

-Graphite Upper Deck
Comes with it stock, at least my last 3 kits did...maybe he was the only unlucky one. LOL.

-CVD's all the way around -Hara Spec Sway Bars
Stock and hara....lol , nope stock.

-All countersunk hardware with purple cs washers
Wowsers , 5.00 on some PURPLE washers and stock screws, why didnt you get the hara screws...would that be finally crossing the line of lies?

-Team Orion 1500 NiMH RX Pack with charging jack
Finally a quality item and probably toast.

_Team Associated Radio 27Mhz AM and RX -JR 270 Throttle and Steering Servos
$30 buck buy on ebay

-Brand new Rims with Rubber Slick Tires
Cool now wheres my rs4-2?

-Ofna Starter Bump box
I bet this came with the kit when he bought used, cause its a wortwhile item.

_Nissan Skyline Body, Porche Body, and a Mazda 6 Body

I want a porch body too....light maple is a good color.

BTW I saw this auction on ebay a long time ago. I kinda worry about these regurgitated dejavue auctions. Normally its either a rip-off item , someone re-selling an item or the guy didnt sell it before.

There is nothing hara about that kit and he did kinda say it wasnt...but that it was setup like haras. Well my kit is also setup like the hara kit and that kit is as far from haras setup as you can get.

Id stay away and wait for other kits or find a brand new kit. Theres quite a few options if your going to go r40. If you want the 2005/hara edition your going to pay top dollar. But if you want the older 2004 you can find those for a good price and they have a lot of the options hara actually does have.

his last email to me

I run an airtronics M11 radio with a spektrum module
and hitec digi servos on all of my r/c, i obviously
did not want to sell this radio with the car because i
run all of my other cars off of it. So i just picked
up a left over radio system from the shop and
installed/tested it. It works just fine, it has all of
the adjustments that you need, and as long as you run
with 5 or less people, the 27 mhz band is just fine.
Most people buying this car will ditch the radio
equipment anyways to add their own, I did infact only
add the radio gear to attract more of the RTR crowd,
who want a high end car, but do not want to have the
worries of building and setting it up.

If you do end up winning the car, you will not be
disappointed with it in any way shape or form. Just
the setup on the car alone will make you a better
driver than most. You will be very happy with it, and
honestly i think you would be happier with this car
than any others that i have seen for sale on ebay in
the past few months. If this makes any difference, Ray
D. (team losi's factory driver) lives right down the
street from me, we grew up together, and he did all
the setup and final tweaking on the car, its a sick
car.

The shock towers are alloy (the graphite ones were
backordered when i got to that point), and i stayed
away from the aluminum hubs for the weight savings,
and servo/antenna mounts for radio reasons. The
aluminum pics up too much noise, and you do not want
that when running higher end digital servos, and the
plastic has virtually no flex due to the way they are
mounted, so the alloy ones have virtually no
advantage.

The end of that email he actually did sound smart for once. But if his team losi friend down the street set it up , what did he set it up on....the street , or just by looking at it.

Cause I doubt this guy from team losi went to the track with this guy to just waste all his run time tuning a car from hpi out. If anything the guy was at the track and gave some pointers on a car.

Just sounds like hes going a bit too far on the lies. Its like that kid everyone knows who wants attnetions and says he met michael jordan or he hung out with jennifer lopez and santa clause came into his room the other night and they went on a magical jounrey to the north pole. Then he got himself a toyota supra with 1000hp from the new fast and the furious 4 movie which his cousin got him on....lol.

As soon as I read hara and they guy buys ofna shocks...im done. LOL.

Look to pay 449 + tax....ouch.

There is one place online that sells the hara for 419. As well you can get the 2005 kits for 360 from hong kong shops.

300 is pretty high , but im sure he will be happy. BTW you can retract your bid and I can 99.9 gurnatee at that bid you will win.

Why you recommend R40 if there is better than that?

PHP Code:
Why you recommend R40 if there is better than that

what would you reccomend? The thread is here because I am open to suggestions. The reason I picked this car ( I am still considering the tc3) is because the parts are available at my local shop and because it has a winning history. I am a realist, I understand I would get drilled by 12 year olds in a real race. But I do want good equipment to at least start off with so I take that out of the equation. Kinda like MArtin TRuex Jr......gimme some good equipment...I will wreck it. I will probably be slow the first couple times out.....but, I have the cash to fix it like DEI.....and I eventually will get it up to speed and maybe send that 12 year old crying to his mother.......but he will be okay...because she will take him to get ice cream..me? I'll just get her number
