Yes team associated has been using a hard delrin or moulded nylon gearsets for a while. YBSLOW pits for barry from time to time he knows this for a fact.
I'm going back to belt cars because the belt will absorb the shock when the car shifts and the input from the wheels if you happen to tangle with someone without breaking the drivetrain.
Don't forget that the belts break too for a variety of reasons. The only time I have gear problems is with the one-way. It will run all day with the diffs. AE better get those gears out, or the next Cincy layout better be a little more technical.

GO MUGEN!!
It`s the games like this that caused me to quit running Associated 20 years ago.

To me the new tank is not really a fix, maybe would help alittle buts thats it! The lid mod is not all the trouble. Until you control the vibration, or isolate the tank some way other than leaving it loose and adding 3 more o'rings, you'll still have troubles. Go to the Mugen or Serpent Tank and be almost done with it! You will also have to get rid of that flemsy, flexxy AE chassis.

Default Exhaust System

Come on guys you shouldn't tease us like that. Is it a rear exhaust over the top or is it nothing special? Share the knowledge please

Damn Swen: Its just a top secret exhaust system ! I have been working with center rear exhaust sytems for the NTC3 for awhile now, everybody seems to just laugh about it! So yes its like the diff cases TOP SECRET! I will tell ya this, the cases are'nt RD LODGICS. I do alot of what you call top secret stuff to my cars, if it works sometimes I share , sometimes I don't. Why tell every little secret? I'm sure the factory guys tell us all they know.
Lighten up man, do some experimenting yourself!
