I have similar comments as those who also posted

The speed
The smell
The sound
The skill
The fact it brings out the mechanics in all of us
The run time
The raw POWER (leaving 4 wheel foam tire lines around a corner when you get on it)
The RUSH of a 30 minute main. I know people who bitch about 8min mains for 1/12th scale racing... hehe that was easy for me after doing 30 min and 45 min mains at the local nitro track

Unfortunately I just sold off my FW-05RR and all its spare parts and all... the local onroad/nitro track closed up and I am looking to do more 1/1 scale racing

Thumbs up

The best reason I like nitro onroad is pretty much self explanatory. And here it is.You know that feeling you get when you pull the trigger and there's 10 1/8th scale cars screaming down a long back straight and your in the lead going into the first turn. If you ever experience that, then there's no explanation ever needed as to why you like nitro onroad.

what i love about nitro onroad is the speed, sound, smell, competition and the exiting crashes(only if its not my car ) the preperatoin side is relaxing and fun and the fellow racers are over all a great bunch of people

like everyone else, the sound espiecially when it rips through second gear, the speed as it flies by you, and the rush of racing with other people. Also just having cool people in the hobby that know a ton more than me helping me out!

Because there is nothing like wrecking your car at 50+ mph and walking away from it.

Your 1st nitro car. Goes only 30mph but you Feel like its going 70mph because of the sound! Next, you go to race and hear 10 cars reving at the same time and feel the adrenaline rush. Brings a tear to my eye just remembering. Maybe its just the nitro fumes

for me, the super tight passes during races.... overtaking while the other guy tries to block you!
the most fun i get when i pass him with 2 wheels on the curbs and the opposite side of my car less than a inch away from his side...
