i have an rs4 3 type ss and a rush evo i have resently put in a new glow plug but now the surface of the glow plug (when u take it out and lok at it) the area where the element is it seems to be browning a bit like i said i am running a bit rich but is this normal ?

The area around the element will darken. So that is normal...
