Default tamiya nitro cars

i want to get a tamiya nitro car, i'm looking more towards a tg10.
how are their cars, is tamiya a good starting nitro car?

I wouldn't sugest them as they break easy and are expensive to add hop up items
If you are looking I would suggest somthing like a Kyosho V1s
Or the ofna Ob4
Good start and reasonably strong and priced

there are lots of better options than tamiya i have seen one before and i wasnt impressed

look around the forums and you can get a good idea of what cars are good or not there is even a thread about which is better associated ntc3, mugen mtx-3, or serpent 705

Forget it. The Tamaya cars beak easy. One good crash and the money flows out of your pocket like water fixing it. Try the HPI or Kyosho cars. We have about 20 members in our nitro car club here in Thailand and these cars can take the heat and punishment. Expect to replace the HPI engine piston sleeves and rings often. When it tis time to change these parts upgrade to a Novarossi 1.2 engine. We now all have this engine and it screems.

the tg10 isnt that good of a racer!!! but trust me they are stirdy!! i flipped mine like 4 times going 70kph and one wheel broke!!!
