were you at eastern creek yesterday?

a mate drove my pullstart car to come in 3rd (after he lead for 20 odd minutes),my car is a fw05r (with rr conversion) and a techwell, cause my rb died.

the hobao gpx4 is a very good car for pullstart too.

The Kyosho VoneSIII looks to be the most competitive pullstart chassis so far, and they just released a Kyosho Cup edition for it with most of the racing hop ups.

You cant go part a vonesIII,if you run foam tyres the set up is much the same as vonerrr .Just leave the original motor and add a tuned pipe, cut 10mm off the header, change the glow plug then sit back and see how fast these cars are.A vonesIII with these changes won the recent team orion summernationals pullstart class by 4 laps.

the first 4 cars were acutally on the same lap.my car (with a mate driving) lead for the first 20 odd minutes.if mine had the rb instead of the shitty old techwell......

does the vones III have a centax clutch?

No it has a two shoe clutch, but all it needs is the optional heavy spring to make it a reliable clutch. The summer nats were held at fairy meadow, illawarra this year and the only car in pullstart to come any where the vonesIII was an other kyosho the fwo5T, but the vonesIII led the final from start to finish.

Yeah the V1S3 is virtually a RRR to run in pullstart class John.....it`d be a good car for you having already raced the RRR.
I`d be trying Pro-Shop or Champ......they`d be close to the best prices
Cheers
