I wouldn't say anything like that until you see one go, anyway who told you that they aren't even released yet

Hey Chris, i am not trying to talk bad about the product. As any new development, will take time to improve it. The engine has being running already at Crystal Park in California, by Team Mugen. A friend of mine was there and told me that was impressed by the torque, but not really impressed by the top speed. In USA the engine should be available to the public very shortly. Hopefully i can get my hands in one and try it

Hi guys,

I dont think we would be disappointed on the Ninja's Top End. In fact, during the last test session, we actually had to gear down on second.. Where we usually run a 20/45 on a JP FX (Same Pipe Combo, Tire Diameter, etc), we changed to 20/46 because the motor was still pulling RPMs while the car was already at the end of the straight away. Glad to hear your friend was impressed with the Bottom End as we are too.

The Motor runs really well. It feels and sounds like it does have a lot of power. The sound of the motor seem to be also distinct from the JPs.

Serpent tried to do something about the engine prices by releasing an affordable fast reliable engine-line the Mega ZX series, if they are fast and reliable I will not want to make a discussion about, but at least they tried to do something about it.

If GRP/Ninja succeeds to do the same, or even better, the only thing it tells me is that we all should leave the Nova based engines on the shelf, and go for these 2 brands......

Only then the engines will go down in price......
