I dont know about the new ats tires, but the old ones had horrible rims. The foam seemed good, but 1 small hit and the rim was broken. I once saw one that was new. car was put on the ground, driver gave it the throttle and all the spokes broke and the rim came apart. These were the touring tires. Hopefully the new ones are better.

Gunit I tested them in practice & was comparing them to forefaster 37's & the ats 35 special gave me more traction i did not run the Nat's but was able to enjoy open practice could not attend the event but will make it for next year

Well it looks like they corrected the problem I went to tight on a turn on full throttle & no cracked rim or spokes for me car went airborn

710BABY
I brought 5 sets of the touring tyres
same style rim but different color.
Now they are fl.yellow
When the temp is warmer here, I will
begin to test. At these big tracks the comp is very
hard already. I dont need to have chunked tyres
or cracked rims. You feel me.

Sup Greg, I haven't done much with the cars yet, have been fixing house projects now, so I do not hear anything when I start racing, lol. I started putting in the milled chassis on my origional WC. I still have to decide on another engine soon, cause I want both cars ready just in case. Yeah, it should be real fun, and we will do well. I too am looking foward to running with you and the boys @ the track..

Yes Captain
I will be the first to attest to the fact that the old style rims on the
1/8 scale car, did have a nice amount of play. (Front and Rear)
But now that i think about it. Those rims may fit better on the Mugen car
than the Kyosho car. Because the scrub is different.
I will buy a set or 2 of the new style rims. Just to test out.
I have so many brands of other tyres to choose from.
But i will be useing Jaco tyres the most this year.
