I did more testing on the 1/8th on a rough surface & liked the tire wear.
Since the gq is know for a stronger rim the foam, rubber contents for Gq makes the 35's feel like 37's & after 3-4 minutes my rear would get lose depending on how hard I drove the car I did not get the same reaction with the Ats it gave me consistent traction for 5 minutes.
Once i get the 1/10 tires in I will have some better updates since the next upcoming race in 1/8th is in 2 weeks

But now that i think about it. Those rims may fit better on the Mugen car
than the Kyosho car. Because the scrub is different.
I will buy a set or 2 of the new style rims. Just to test out.
I have so many brands of other tyres to choose from.
But i will be useing Jaco tyres the most this year.
Greg you got to try out the 35 special I think you will like them & I got them on the Evolva & no play nice & snugged.

I hope you guys from NY can come down to MD for a few races this summer at C-Witts new track. They are going to grade the track tomorrow and hopefully put down the asphalt next week. Look at the 301 Raceway thread. www.rctech.net/forum/showthread.php?t=98754d.

Good looking out. I will try a set or 2.
Thats good to hear there is no play, and that
they fit snugged.
Let me know how you made out at the next race.

after 2 5minute runs they look perfect I did not get a chance to measure them but they looked just liked they were trued next week i will get complete details after they are put to the daily test.
greg I will be @ Kissimee raceway & your car looked good pm me your set up & I will compare it to the fort myers set up that i have on the car right now.
i think since the track has not had a race since you were there the early set up will work fine & some tweaking will have to be done as traction builds up.

Thanks cap
I am also doing a similiar test always wondered the differences between the RRR & mtx4 just finished buiding the mtx4 & will be testing to see how much different it handles to the RRR the Mtx4 goes together pretty well enjoyed how the clutch bell comes off easy did not enjoy getting the motor out as you have to take off the belt tensioner but it feels pretty good
one comparsion that will be tested is box setup

Hey cap tested out the 1/10th ATS tires @ Kissimmee racewy
started out @ 60mm front & 62mm rear
2 qualifiers & a 20 min main after the race here is what the wear was
front 57.89
rear 59.38
More testing will be done next weekend
Did not get to start my main for 1/8th scale but I used the same set for 2 Qaulifiers & since there was not much wear i was going to use the same set for the main
I used the same set up for my Evolva that i had for Fort Myers the only change was that i went with a 4mm spacer in the rear.
