Ok, good news, sorta I will probably get some plastic on the coming week, I found a better source for it (read, cheaper) and I will have some time. The body is done, I just didnt have the time to modify the machine to make it work better and the mold needed some mods too. Im hoping that we will have some pics on the next couple of weeks, so please bear with us.

Thanks,

Steven Muller

modellor

I'm dying to see some 200, and even 190mm GTP shells. Are you designing these so they have to use chopped down front shock towers? Will you be able to drop these shells on to an NTC3 or will it require modification?

The two GTP style shells I have tried, the Racer's Choice GTP and the Frewer Porsche GT1 required chopped down towers to get them to fit correctly.

From my understanding with Steve these shells will fit straight onto any car without any modifying. We had not actually thought about 190mm shells but the possibilities are there. I'll talk to Steve and see what he thinks.

I like the Frewers shells myself (Especially the GTP). I havent tried the Racer's Choice. One I am going to try is the new Bolink Porsche 962. It looks really nice and will probably have a nice feel.

Every electric TC guy at my track, which admittedly isn't a lot, wants to run a GTP. It's easy to put a 200mm on a TC3 with a chopped down tower, but it would be nice if one actually fit.

Hey Modellor, the BoLink 962 body is 235mm size, or electric 10th sc. pan_sized, I think....I was there today and asked them...they don't have a "new" one.

Based on the width (8"), this seems to be touring 200mm size...

Yeah. I just noticed the Bolink site is a year behind. But current 200mm foam rules state shells to me max width of 210mm

Yeah, I have already done all that at the start.

I have a whole disk full of pictures of all the different GTP style cars,

Porsche 962, Jaguar, Sauber, Lancia, Rondel, Toyota, Nissan, Peugeot, Ford, Spice, Chevrolet, Lambourghini, GM, and many more.

Thanks.

I know you have a lot of pics, but here is a site that I found that has spme more GTP pics (including the Mazda and a few other lesser known GTP cars):
