This is a good time to get your motel rooms as they have had a bad summer season and a low turn out so far for winter because of RED TIDE .
There are also a lot of houses for rent in the area.

Looks like I’m going to probably be moving to Cape Coral pretty soon. What’s the closest carpet track? I’ve heard that nobody races outdoors in the summer. Is this true? Thanks.

Welcome. Locally there is no carpet racing. I think the closest is Tampa area but it is not a permanent track. Google minnreg racing. They have a race The Friday /Sat /Sunday after Thanksgiving looks like. It is about 2 hours from Cape Coral.

us 41 south
also check Punta Gorda /Port Charlotte area
