Hi,
When i had my impulse i went to http://www.mytsn.com which is the serpent website. Go under forums and then impulse. Lots of stuff to read and a lot of setups.

Parts wise, i would not put too many upgrades unless you go the ebay way and pick stuff up cheap. Buying parts for the impulse from the hobby shop can come out to being the price of a new car.

You might try getting a 705 rolling chassis for the last update to the impulse chassis. I've seen them go pretty cheap. There are many sitting in closets I'm sure. Maybe ask around at the track you run at.

I have an old Impulse Pro and the only thing I can think is to upgrade to that. Other than the upgrades the Pro had I don't know of anything else. I don't know if you are going to be able to find parts. You might be able to upgrade the clutch and 2-speed but by the time you do that you might as well buy a newer car. I don't think it's worth upgrading.
