Any large LHS in LA on the way from LAX to the Port of Los Angeles?
I arrive at LAX at about 1pm, and ship leaves at 6pm, so, I got a couple
hours to kill

Looking for, especially, a Kyosho stockist that would have FW-05R/RR kits in stock, or I'll take a Mongoose G4 at a good price.

Thats a tough one. LAX and the port of LA are only 10 miles apart. About the only deceint sized shop is this one http://www.hobbywarehouse.us/
You will need to take a bit of a side trip to get there as well. Looking at there site, I don't see the kit you want, but try calling them.

I don't think Hobbywharehouse carries any Kyosho part or Mongoose. I suggest you contact Ultimate Hobbies in city of Orange.

your only choices would be Ultimate Hobbies or Speedtech.
neither is on your way to the port. Ultimate would be one hour to get there and you will most likely look around for an hour or more and then another hour or more to get to the port. Speedtech is further away.

Well, I was looking to do the opposite now, as in port-lhs-lax, but unfortunately, Ultimate opens at 11am, and my flight time is 11:40am

Mebbe next time.
Going to San Fran next month for a few days.
Anything up there? Or how far from San Fran to LA?
