Default tranny problem

ok ive got a kyosho fw05t and its a great car starts everytime ive got about a quart through it but my problem is when it shifts into 2nd and i hit the brakes it shifts into "neutral" i should say then doesnt go anywhere unless i let the rpms drop then it makes a clunk noise then runs like before i was driving it in my parking lot at work and picked up a rock so i know what did it i just need to know how to fix it and what part is broken

Maybe try going to a local track and see if any one there can help u as it is had to diagnose without seeing or hearing it.

Mind you, I am just trying to help you figure this out without actually seeing your car so I may be completely off on this however, one of two things may be happening. Your 2nd gear clutch may be hanging, suggest you take a look at the clutch and see if the screws are on properly or, your 1st gear one-way bearing is slipping. Of course there is a possibility that a set screw may be loose so it wouldn't hurt also to check all the set screws or pins while you have the tranny out. Good luck.
