2018 Midwest Series
The start of the 49th running of the greatest nitro series in the country, The Midwest Series, is right around the corner. We're putting together the finishing touches on the details for the season and counting down the days. The season opening 2018 Spring Shootout kicks off on May 19/20 at the home of One Eighth Racers of Toledo Ohio. We're again going to be at TSRCAR in Cincinnati Ohio and we're excited to announce the series is returning to Leisure Hours in Joliet Illinois for two events. The complete schedule is posted on our Facebook page - Midwest Series. You can follow us there and keep up on all the action and race reports throughout the summer as drivers compete for series championships awarded in October.
Best of luck and good racing to everyone throughout the summer!

Hey Anthony!! We are all looking forward to this season! You better start lobbying your GT buds to get the races. GT was dropped as a class this year. But, I'm pretty sure if 5 or more racers show up, it'll be run as an exhibition class. Hope to see ya in Toledo! A month away!

TeamNitro had their April meeting yesterday. It was reported that the equipment is in great mechanical shape. Thanks Otto for storage and the use of your shop, (Engines by OTTO) to make repairs and get everything tuned up! The trailer was then moved to Leisure Hours for the season. Everyone is looking forward to starting the racing season there May 06.
The MWS will have the ability to check and then print off your lap times with the LiveTime kiosk that was originally donated to TN by Don "Who" Jones. Since TN will not be running a track anytime soon, (probably never), Don graciously allowed TN to pass on the pricey equipment to the MWS. Those familiar with this equipment know it's a valuable tuning aid to help get those lap times down. Thanks again Don!
Not MWS related: The TN drivers stand will soon have a new home!! It will be going to an off-road track in Indiana. Yeeea!
Hope to see many racers in less<<<<< than a month!!! One-Eighth Racers host Race 1 to start the season! May 19-20. Practice the 18th! Hope you're all ready!!
