Yea the K.O. has one of the fastest servo's
I've even heard that the J.R. & K.O. are made at the same place
Don't know if it's true but who knows

Just go to the Horizon website for the specs. The magazine ads have the correct specs also. Just the blister pack that the 8450 comes in is wrong. I have both servos, (4) 8550's in fact.

Get the Futaba s9450, trust me! best output torque at high operating speed and very strong and reliable. I have tried them all and most lasted only a few months at best. I have my 2 s9450's for more than a year without a hint of a problem. Sure some companies have a warrantee for a year but who wants to wait weeks or months to get it repair or replaced

Digital Servos are definitely better in performance but they also fail alot more. Working in a hobby store i can tell you that the returns on failed digitals servos does'nt impress me or my customers. This includes all brands.

Yes, get the Futaba. I personally use KO because they have the best specs between the two. If you didn't know, Futaba and KO use a different plug from the other manufacturers. This could be a problem if you have a radio from Air, Hitec and Jr.

wow i cant believe your lhs would tell you that apparently they arent very knowledgable i dont understand that thinking at all you would think they would at least want to sell a servo
any servo can work with any radio if connected properly

but you can use a futaba servo with airtonics reciever just make sure the 3 wires are in the right order when plugged in if airtronics uses wire colors different from futaba white red and black i can tell you what they are if you tell me the colors usually yellow red brown i think

white to yellow
red to red
black to brown

white is signal
red is positive power
black is negative power

sometimes the plug had to be modified some with exacto knife but its simple enough
