i doubted this engine before i bought it, now, its the best motor ive driven!

they only have a 2 needle carb (3 if you include idle), plastic composite carb body to "apparently" stop the heating of fuel as it goes through the carb, but you can fit a novarossi carb without any troubles and the motor is very light compared to a nova or rb.

I was lucky to get the factory modified version though not sure what they did or how it compares to a standard picco RE.

Ive noticed that it revs out quicker than a rossi but tends to heat up abit also (even with 18/22 pinions). i bought it with a manifold and picco top end matching pipe which i highly recommend also.

i only run 15% nitro which is a custom blend of VP racing methanol and nitro and high quality oils (novarossi i think)

great engine, highly recommended

The great Joel Johnson came by our Club meeting last night (RCCAR of San Jose California). He has the Trinity Reflex and will be delivering it to CASTLE HOBBIES in San Jose, CA (possibly today) for us (the general public) to view. I spoke with him last night and will try to get it to Eric Vasutin so we can see the car. If it does come in today, I will make a comparisson to the V-One R.

Default Picco RR? WHAT???

3 Holes under what I think is the exhaust port?( Or intake, nah) And an additional lower transfer port, HUH? Can you say fuel economy?
The crank has a slinger groove, no knife edgeing, thats kind of tame for all that much sleeve work. How long of a run are we talking about?

yes, that is the exhaust port, notice the notch on the top of the sleeve, that points to the rear of the motor. what are the 3 holes for?
