Yeah, I agree.. I know that Trinity parts are much easier to get than kyosho parts. Then with Trinity parts, you can accually read the label without needing to learn a second language. Kyosho part numbers are also a little confuesing.

Guys,

Ran one tank through one of the cars that they were testing here in California it is a going to be a solid ride.

The kit is totally clean and as far as performance the car drives itself.

I have one of the new picco RE factory motor in my V-one R, this thing is super quick, will keep up with anything on the track - novarossi's, jp's, rb's and the rest.

i doubted it at first but once it broke in, man its fast. a real eye opener

This morning I checked Tower's site. Of course, they don't have it in stock, but the price is $289, the same as the NTC3. I would guess that by the time anyone can actually get one, it should be around $270-280.

I like my V one R but I just don't get why it seems like other companies have to copy it compleatly

But on the other hand I like the fact that there MIGHT be more available parts

It's 289 Bucks on Tower Hobbies site. Considering a new Kyosho V-One R is $329 in this country without the hopups, it seems like this car is a better deal (and you get the hopped up parts to boot!). If you were to buy a Kyosho V-One R and get all K Factory parts for it,it would easilly run you over $500 if you bought it all retail in the US. $289 in my opinion is a good deal, might as well just buy the car and cannibalize it for the hop up parts and spares :P .

Hey Nitro Dave how does that .12 compare to the Picco 12Rc speed? Which I just got after seeing my buddies run in an OB4.

ive run about 20 tanks through the picco now, man this thing is quick! keeps up with all engines at our track - novarossi rs-12's, rb-x-12's, mt-12's etc.

i doubted this engine before i bought it, now, its the best motor ive driven!

they only have a 2 needle carb (3 if you include idle), plastic composite carb body to "apparently" stop the heating of fuel as it goes through the carb, but you can fit a novarossi carb without any troubles and the motor is very light compared to a nova or rb.

I was lucky to get the factory modified version though not sure what they did or how it compares to a standard picco RE.

Ive noticed that it revs out quicker than a rossi but tends to heat up abit also (even with 18/22 pinions). i bought it with a manifold and picco top end matching pipe which i highly recommend also.

i only run 15% nitro which is a custom blend of VP racing methanol and nitro and high quality oils (novarossi i think)

great engine, highly recommended
