This is funny! When XRay first came out these were the same complaints, too expensive stay away. When the Capricorn came same thing, too expensive. Just gotta laugh. Remember guys it’s always your choice with your cash!

You may be right but over $200 jump is simply insane. I hope other companies don't follow.

With strong tech, service and availability of parts it would be acceptable. In this case, it doesn't make enough sense. It is nice, tho.

Yes the kit might be priced a little high but dont forget the car is now completely built in japan and let me tell you while i was building this kit all i could think about was how amazing the quality is, i have never built a kit with this kind of quality and yes i have built every single 1/8 onroad car on the market, to me the price is completely justified especially when you see the quality of all the aluminium and the plastics they really are amazing quality, i thought my capricorn lab 803 was amazing and i still do but to me the infinity is better and to me that really is saying something. Next time you get to see one at the track have a good look at it and i bet you quickly change your mind.
Please remember this is my opinion, but you really need to see to believe.

Dan:

With every year when Xray releases an updated model the price increases. In 2015 i paid $700au for NT1 2015, today the 2018 model is $900au. Some of that will be to do with exchange rate, but the Capricorn C03 is $700au. At the end of the day nitro on road is now a niche market and manufacturers will want a return on investment or they wouldn't bother making the investment.

I feel ya. Can't really be much better than a Mugen, can It? I can appreciate it more if its completely made in Japan.

Somehow, I doubt all of it is made there. I'd gladly consider putting out more money if it's all Japanese. I'd rather give them my hard earned cash than the commies.

That my additional .02 cents.
