Agreed on how it's supposed to work. With return springs on some carb/car combos they don't work. Rubber band method is decent but again inadequate. So yes perfect world. Perfect circumstances it's supposed to do what you described. No doubt or denying any of that. But as stated. Some servos don't move at all when there is no power. And definitely needs more force than a couple rubber bands and/or a spring.

The servos I currently run do not have this issue. Nor does my car anymore, but it can happen at anytime with any servo when they burn up and lock or break and lock. Even then no amount of hope or force with help you.

No switch will save you from a locked up servo either.
Why would you run a stiff servo on throttle?

It's not stiff when powered up, but with no power .........it's like the magnets in the servo motor are very strong , n that makes the servo stiff 👍🏽. But yes no return spring will save you if your servo is froze open, also be careful wit the Lil cheap switch from eBay. I've went thru a few of them....... Some do last tho. Sounds like it's lemons even in the ko and other more expensive ones also. I'm trying a ko in my new ride, but if I have any problems , going back to direct connect where I've had zero issues

Mini Deans and goody's hair bands (clear) for a throttle return spring. Very clean looking and the Goody's even pulled back a Futaba 9352HV when the board fried on me.

Tessman recently had an issue I believe with it being worn. At least that's what I heard so don't quote me on it. I've ran the method for years. But with the reliability I've experienced with a digital switch, I wouldn't switch back. At a glance I know my voltage and it's never let me down. I keep an extra on hand at all times. But I've never needed it. Although every year I take a look inside to make sure it's clean. If it's overly dirty I replace it.

Exactly the switches I will never use again👆🏽 went thru 3 or 4 and the plastic used on the case is brittle......so the mounting tabs always break off

I have one of those and it never worked right. It cuts off the power at 6v when hooked up to a Nimh battery.

I also have a Kyosho switch that looks exactly the same that does work perfectly.

Any idea why my Ko Pro does what it does?
