something i tested this weekend yall might like to try.. is the +2 front wheel hexes.. narrows the front by 6mm overall. I think this will help anyone who feels they dont have the steering they want. Especially if you dont have the aluminum front end. This will be a good option to try.

What i noticed was i was able to gain alot more steering, and response, however, lost some stability. Truck wanted to tank slap sometimes.. but.. a few changes i was able to cure it.. I changed to the outer hole on the arms for the front shocks, seemed to help. what i really liked was i was able to gain corner entry steering, and high speed steering as well. So i was able to be more aggressive with the truck in the corners.

Just FYI, i am running the aluminum front end as well.

I have also updated my setup sheet on the xray website.. just search grobe

I switched to the expensive brake pads and now I cannot get enough braking. Seems like I need more servo travel than I have available room. Any ideas to fix?

Are you using the springs that come with them?

I was but had almost no brakes with the springs. Changed to fuel tubing and got a little more but still not much. That is with new pads. Once they get some wear I expect to lose some braking.

so you don’t use the factory supplied springs on the brake linkage?

Not sure what your asking.. there is a spring that is on the linkage between the throttle servo and carb. Yes u need that . Some people run spring is between the brake pads.. to separate the pads while brakes are not on. I don't have those on mine
