Default Nitro 1/8 short course?

Does anyone make a 1/8 scale nitro short course truck anymore? All I could find is the old team associated sc8.

Ok, seems a little easier to find a electric version and convert it to nitro. I also saw hobao has the hyper s8 but I prefer the associated version.

Not much at all, I did find a used nitro team associated sc8 on eBay ,can't wait till it arrives so I can tear it apart. Ordered a novarossi bonito for it and will probably put some aluminum factory parts on the chassie.

that should be a fun truck! shame there isn't a scene for racing them... I have a tekno sct, eb, and nb... all of which share a ton of parts, and i thought about swapping the shock towers on the NB with the SCT and making it a nitro Tekno SCT.. lol

I still have my SC8 nitro, RC8T, and RC8B Worlds. The SC8 I have always used as a nitro break-in and messing around platform. IMHO it sucks on a track that's even a little bit rough. Air gets up under that big body and makes it total crap to jump.. I run on a mess-around onroad track though, and it's good fun. Eats up the onroad tires though heh-heh.. I always liked that about AE, that they had all those 8th scale cars which shared parts. Now that's all history unfortunately.. All anybody cares about these days is new geometry or redesigns every 6-8 months or whatever to save fractions of seconds of laptimes..

I was surprised it used buggy size wheels. I thought the wheels would be truggy size. I love the fact it's different from your common buggy and truggy. Even though they share the same center chassie.

I love that about my Tekno's, the shared parts... I will probably turn my SCT into a nitro for a weekend and just mess around with it hah, I know it won't handle as good as my NB, but it'll be fun!
