Default wheels spin backwards after braking

So I have weird situation. Not sure if it's a problem or not. After a hard brake the wheels will spin backwards. When I give throttle it goes forward again but after I brake starts to go backwards. Flywheel spinning correctly. Diff's are in correctly. It's Werks b5 in a NB48.3. I don't think there anything wrong with the motor....If i have it on a flat surface it will go backwards 5 feet. ON the box it's really noticeable.

It does it on the ground? Thats bizzare. Your not on a hill i assume because thats the only thing i could think of haha.

Maybe check everything is spinning freely, perhaps something is getting bound up and when you break it gets released causing the car to go backwards.

Yeah. On the ground. It's not strong enough to go up a hill but I haven't seen anything like this. I was thinking maybe brakes are worn and not staying against the steel plates.

Probably the wheel on oneside is lifted up and so will turn backwards when the diff has stopped rotating and the other wheel is on the ground rotating forward.

So after some discussion with pdillon and trial and error....motor was running in the opposite direction. The one time I buy something brand new and I had to rewire bump box to turn motor the correct way....

Had that happen long ago during a big race "motorama" my on/off switch fried between heats and my pit man bypassed it. I was stunned that a nitro engine could run backwards.

So with a hard brake the engine turns backwards. I think you have to check the clutch. The engine goes to low on rpm due a low idle or a sticky clutch so it can get a backfire and turn backwards.
