Default Name that buggy???

Hey all I'm Brian 1st poster. Getting back into the hobby after many many years. What got me re excited was I picked up a bolink super sport and it brought back memories so that should tell you how long it's been lol. Aslo scored a rc10ls but both of those are gonna wait. I'm still fairly familiar with most of the major brands but can't identify this buggy any help would be appriciated.

I'm gonna convert it to electric but would like to know exactly what it is lol.

Brian

Could be. Ofna had so many buggys that were very similar in design and layout with 80 different names. What are you looking to do with it?

Nitro and I don't get along lol. I've always been an electric guy I've tried a few times and find electric to be a better fit for me. So... I picked up this chassis on ebay recognising it was a quality chassis not a cheapo one but was unsure what it was as was the seller. Thought it was a good enough deal to take a Crack at converting it to a back yard brushless basher for my boy and I to have fun with. But things are gonna break and I'd like to know what it is to source parts.

Also any brushless help you got is cool with me (yes I know I'm in the nitro section) electronics recommendations or conversion tips.

And Im doing a old school restore on a bolink eliminator more than likely going brushless and probably selling the rc10L if you know anyone that likes these dinosaurs. I love em.

Digging around on the Web I think you got me in the right direction it certainly looks like a ofna thanks. I can't find a single example of a gold chassis made by ofna though.

Try looking for parts for the Ofna LX2-E buggy. Most of Ofna's parts are very interchangeable between their cars. Might even find some Hyper parts that work as well. Ebay is going to be your friend on this one since Ofna is all but out of business now...

They are old and sold so-so, they were available for a long time first time I heard of them was in 2005 or so, one shop had them briefly and was the first and only brand I tried to sponsor me.

Saw one on a site like craigslist but the seller didn't answer, was a mint RTR for very cheap. Learnt that the only weak point were diffs, if not mistaken satellite gear play was large and then the diff tended to grind itself so shim everything almost tight and should be fine.

If you get it parts are almost if not impossible to find.

I got it. Should be here any day but the impossible to find parts for makes me think this may not be the best idea after all... it's in great shape I guess I could always resell it now that I know what it is. Sucks cause I think its cool and would Iike to do the conversion. Back to the blah ideas I was kicking around I guess. Emaxx stampede rustler whatever I can get cheap and make fast lol. It's literally going to be beat up in my back yard and thats it. But I want something tough and quick so this was gonna work but not if I can't break it and order parts.

The bolink is hard enough, don't need two difficult cars lol.
