That's a great video. Hopefully JQ's car is good enough to get the customers he needs to make his brand successful. If it is, he does make a good point that if you support his efforts, you might as well buy his car. I must say i respect him for admitting there are people that don't want to buy the car because of him. Holding on to personal beliefs and being true to yourself is definitely an act of self integrity (exact opposite of most politicians) when personal gain is affected negatively.

I disagree, he is now pleading with people to buy his car. Why should the very people that he disrespects support his efforts? I use to actually feel sorry for this guy. But until he started disrespecting my son publicly because he didn't want to be on his team... he is an adult and should act like one! Forget all that European sarcasm crap. I had always wished him success personally.regardless of how good his car is, it will be a long time until a worthy pro level driver, gives him a chance. Mainly here in the US. I don't think he pleading, I think he has a valid point. He escaped the sensitive generation or helmet generation as I like to call it. He eats, breaths and shits RC. He's lives at the track and consistently keeps us informed. People think he's a dick because he's honest and doesn't hold back. Sounds like you may have a personal problem with him. I haven't a clue who your son is but maybe he's right? I don't know, just saying. You on the other hand seem to be nice on here and very helpful. But I've been following him for awhile now, on here and other sources and I think he's great. I was at PNB last year and he was the only one I wanted to shake hands and talk to. I will be picking up his new buggy without a doubt but unfortunately I have financial responsibilities that don't involve RC. His shit looks tip top! And I bet other manufactures will see what he did and will have their "updates". His personality drew me to him but his new buggy is gonna close the deal.

You have completely missed the mark here mate. How the hell did you come to the conclusion that he is now "pleading with people to buy his car", at no point in the vid does he come close to saying anything like that. He is pretty much just pointing out that a lot of people are still skeptical of his product due to all the stigma created by him being a slightly polarising figure in the rc world, which I believe is an fairly accurate observation.

As for your reference to "European sarcasm crap", I've never hear someone specify it as "european", it's just sarcasm mate, and from my own personal experiences in life, humorous sarcasm is definitely lost on most Americans. I have no idea why, but they just don't seem to get it.

And if you need to wait until you are shown respect, before you are prepared to give respect, then you'll always end up being disrespected mate.

The White was a very good buggy, and so far for myself, the Black edition has surpassed it in every single aspect. People need to stop giving a fuck about the guy that owns the company (seriously who cares about a village idiot from Finland anyway), and just look at the fucking product! As well as the support offered, not just from JQ himself, but from all of us that run this buggy. You will not find better product support in R/C!!!

I've been running the Mugen since the 6 and Reds for 3 seasons now and I could careless what pros are running these brands. I don't think Mugen had a voice until Drake signed on and now all i see are Mugens. And now they have Maifield. Look out! JQ doesn't have the names but apparently you don't need a big name to make the A main. He's a one man band. But how can you get a big name on your team when you only offer 1/8 buggy? What about truggy? Put out a truggy and I think people would really consider JQ. Shit put away that AE truggy and build your own!
