Default Agama A215SV ::Official Thread::

MORE PICS COMING SOON!

Darren Bloomfield Under Hood A215SV
http://www.neobuggy.net/2016/11/25/u...-bloomfield-9/

*Some option parts pictured on Darren's car.

The A215 SV takes all the great attributes of the A215 platform, and
builds upon them to bring a new level of performance with C-Hub design
front steering geometry to make the car even easier to drive whilst
providing more steering lock.

Incorporating new weight distribution, suspension geometry and steering
amongst many other features all painstakingly refined throughout the
course of the development period, the A215 SV is the ultimate version of
the 215 platform.

Updated parts as follows. These will also be available as an upgrade kit to
the existing A215, both nitro and electric.:

Updated Hinge Pin Braces:
These hinge pin braces utilise a square insert design increasing the range
of geometry changes that can be made to the vehicle, further increasing
the performance.

CNC Aluminium 16 degree caster block :
Aluminium 16 degree caster block, now in the C-Hub style and included in
the box, using a solid pin mount with two grub screws offering a solid and
reliable point to the vehicle.

This will also be offered in a 13 and 19 degree option part.

4mm aluminum ackerman plate:
A 4mm Aluminium ackerman plate has been introduced to remove any flex
in the steering system and a new profile has been used to allow full clearance of the steering links.

Steering bushing:
Used with the updated caster block and steering hub for a cleaner and more reliable operation.

Short steering turnbuckle:
With the extended steering hub arm, a shorter turnbuckle has been used to allow for full toe adjustments to be made.

Drive Cups:
The lightened drive cups have now been introduced as standard running gear on the A215 A215E A215T and
A215SV vehicles.

SV shock towers:
New shock towers are used with updated geometry to match the new steering system and front arms. Whilst
maintaining a perfect front to rear balance of the vehicle.

Front arm outer hinge pin:
This new captured pin is used with the aluminium caster blocks to secure them to the suspension arm.

Front steering hub:
The new steering hub has been made with a removable steering plate
allowing for further adjustments to be made to the steering system as
well as a secure and reliable design.

Front camber turnbuckles:
These turnbuckles have been lengthened to allow for the short and long link setting to be used on the same turnbuckle.

SV Front Roll Bar:
The sway bar has been reshaped to allow for proper operation and clearance from the driveshafts and drive cups.

Steering pivot ball:
A new pivot ball has been made using a one piece threaded design, to make for the most secure link mount.

We have orange, too... But they aren't just colors for the sake of adding color.

Orange inserts are Medium hardness. Yellow inserts are soft hardness. Most will probably just run one or the other, but should one be so inclined, you can use the different color inserts to fine tune for track conditions.

This car looks great I've ran the a215 since it came out and had the a8 before but the prices are going through the roof and it is making it really difficult for a privateer like myself to carry on with the agama product which I love so much.

The A215 is still going to be an available and supported buggy,

Just as clarification on the "through the roof" price increase, the SV comes with universal front driveshafts, aluminium caster blocks and steering hub, the makeup of $63.75 for the driveshafts, $75 for the caster blocks and if available the aluminium steering hub for the A215 as $75 also makes $213.75 of included parts for $165, not to mention towers, links, hinge pin blocks, arms etc.

We kept the price increase to an absolute material minimum.

Thanks for continuing to support Agama.

Hi Mark thank you for your response I totally respect that things have to go up, surely the SV kits aren't going to have the original A215 parts in as well, at 575 I would have liked to have seen universals front and rear.
Do you know how much the conversion kits are going to cost?

The SV kits will not have any of the parts from the A215 kit that are being replaced.

With the A215 kit as you know they come with plastic caster blocks and steering hub, the SV comes with aluminium in both of these in the box.

We have tested with universals front and rear and have found that running CV rear UJ front has offered the best overall performance, the premium is not to have a universal joint but with us simply the best performing package.

The retail of the SV upgrade packs will be on nemoracing and nemoracingusa website once they are published.

I'm not trying to rock the boat but I did a conversion based on what Nemo racing is selling these and at 575, this should be converted to $709. Yet Nemo USA has them for 899.
