Do you know if there are any other manufacturers cvds' or driveshafts that fit the MP9? I am looking for other Manufacturers cvd kits or driveshafts from other manufacturers that fit the MP9 wheel axles. I heard associated shafts fit the kyosho? or maybe the hot bodies fit?REPLY
Any help is greatly appreciated.

You might want to post this in the MP9 thread not the HB thread.

I might want to?

Ohh cool, thanks MacGyver, so a lot of seasoned guys have run most of the platforms and know what's interchangeable and what's not.... so that means posting in multiple threads is what you want to do. Don't limit yourself! well i shouldn't even state the obvious that i posted in Kyosho threads..

So I take it that you don't have an answer to the question?

Does anyone know if the D819 transmission conversation really works? I've been looking at it and it looks essentially the same thing as what it has now just more parts. All it is 2 pieces with a pin and a set crew with smaller bearings. How does this free up the driveline?

there is no set screw. but I also don't really feel any difference. I bought only because I need to replace the front drive shaft so figured I would do the upgrade. I wasn't too thrilled with the small bearings, as the original setup had nice big bearings that last forever.

Ive put it on my car and it definately frees up the drive train. The major change is the pinion gear is straight cut,its not a day and night change but the car rolls better and carries a touch more corner speed. Also the acceleration is slightly better. So its a minor change but add it with the other changes like the thinner hubs and the new B plate and the rear camber link holder the car becomes more aggressive and turns better. For me i was unsure at first but now ive made a few changes im more consistent and im a good half second a lap quicker.

Maybe try 44 mm shock length for the rear?
