Are we sure this isn't a truggy set up for the D817T? I ask because the diff fluids and, more noticeably, the Spur gear (60T) are more truggy standards (I know truggies don't run in europe much, but a "60T" spur I don't think would even fit on a buggy?

Nevermind, he has other setup sheets with a "60/16" set up. Im just not sure how that is possible on the buggy

Do you have to do anything different to get them to fit?

Hello lilstewie,

The HB Team has a new Spur and Clutch Bell in Prototype stage. It will be a drop in without any modification. The difference is the module of the teeth, it has finer pitch.

Cheers..

I'm assuming, smoother gear engagements less power wasted.

the higher the number, the higher the position is. The higher the position, the more camber gain you get.

Is the higher Diff #'s a direct result of the new gearing? It appear much higher on all the set ups when the new pitch is ran.

diff weights have nothing to do with the new pitch. that is just from testing.

Will the pre drilled holes on the kyosho wing line up with the d/e817 wing mount? Need a new wing. All i've used were proline so far. Time to try something different.
