Hello TRIN and Friends,

I also had a thought of going this way by using Front Truggy Shock Shaft and Longer Shock End.. But after some careful thinking, we will then face with Ride Height problem.. The "Short Rear Shock" configuration already have a bit of a problem if we want to set lower then 27mm. But I don't know if this is happened to other fellow as well..

Up travel would not be a problem I think..

Cheers..

I still have the D815 but looking to up grade my chassis to the 17. Do I also need new diff cases? I do know that I will need the new side guards.

no you don't need the diff cases. Only difference on the diff cases are the new bigger bearing on the inside for the pinion.
you will need a new D block though, well not necessary as the 815 block has the notches on it to lock in to the chassis but should still fit the 817 chassis. Geometry is the same but now you can get it in finer increments

Car is awesome out of the box. Aluminum servo horn. And maybe #4 rear carbon camber plates. Down the road you may want to try the short rear carbon tower with truggy front shock bodies. Love it on my car
