Default New team associated nitro truggy

I noticed that Team Associated has their nitro truggy at a deep discount of $499. Has anybody heard about a new truggy in the works? Maybe a rc8t3.2 or rc8t4? Was going to buy the rc8t3.1 but was wondering if I should hold out.

Yes spencer rivkin was running it at pnb, this shot was in jconcepts video of it. I heard maybe later this year from someone it might come out.

Looks like it will have pretty much the same changes as the buggy. New arms, C/D blocks and radio tray.

I want to know if the radio/servo tray, enclosed lipo holder and the narrower ABCD arm holders will be usable on the RC8T3.1. I'm in the process of a rebuild and if the newer parts will fit great I can do a little updating..

You won't need to change the A and B blocks. They are the same. The C and D block and new arms will be a direct bolt on. You will need to pick up an extra set of the lower shock pins and set screws. The new arms use them for both the shocks and the sway bar. The new radio / battery tray can be made to work but it takes some modification. It has to do with the way the new 3.2 side guards attach to the new 3.2 chassis. Look through the buggy thread and you'll see what is required.

There is probably a second page. They are the same blocks as the buggy.

So for those that want to upgrade their T3.1 to T3.2 spec, here you go:

81472 - Rear Arms
81476 - Front Lower Arms
81480 - Front Upper Arms
81484 - Rear Shock Tower (this is a new design)
81454 - C Block
81455 - D Block
81447 - Body Posts & Bumper (can anyone confirm if this is actually needed? Maybe because of the new rear tower? The front bumper is more "aerodynamic" lol)
81197 - Shock Pins (these are also used to mount the swaybar links now)
81257 - 3x6mm Setscrew (for swaybar mount shock pin)

Optional but recommended:

81452 - 16mm shock caps x2
81453 - Shock Bladders, Stiff

Let me know if I missed anything!

I will post this on the RC8T3 thread as well

Isn’t the chassis different with the .1 and .2?

so wouldn’t that need upgraded as well?
