Well, have to change my set up. Going to try some new stuff to LOSE some steering and gain some consistency.

Ran my GT2 today to compare. The GT2 seemed to corner more consistently, but did not jump or land as nicely. The GT2 does not like to land off kilter at all. The GT5 does not mind......lol.

Hope to get to the track tomorrow. Have a new set up on it to try, since traction is so low.

this is all awesome but there is only one engine out there!!! which would make for an interesting SPEC class

http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...ir6BoCxRnw_wcB

wouldnt even have to worry about a starter box!!

Nothing kills a nitro class faster the guys trying to pull start a engine with a one way bearing slipping. Lol there is several .12 engines still avalibke today that would make any guy have a smile on his face.

Well, after racing it and talking to some people who are interested in the conversion chassis, I have decided to not use the gt2 upper deck and fuel tank. I will be using no upper deck and the original rc10gt fuel tank and throttle servo mount.

This open a up the chassis quite a bit and applied the rx pack to be mounted on the chassis.

It is also one less part to modify by the end user.

Finally, gt2 tanks are hard to come by currently. While the original rc10gt tanks can easily be found.

It was awesome to have almost a full main of 9 gas trucks for MNRC's gas truck challenge this last weekend. We will definetly do it at a few rounds next year.

I cut the shaft on an on-road engine and scrounged through parts at the lhs and made that work. It can be done. If you're really interested I can find it and take some pics.

Specs off to the laser cutter tomorrow. Hope to have a prototype for test fitting next week.

He already has the chassis outline and the stock side guard holes, c block holes and D block holes programmed.
