Thanks for posting those, Speedy. Is it just me, or does the engine look more centered than usual?

Just picked up my kit yesterday. Very impressed. Really nice kit. Are most people running Chicky's setup? any other's out there? Rough, low bite, high bite smooth?

The engine is just ever so slightly closer to the center diff to make a better gear mesh when the gears are worn.

I was wondering why they use back the RTR system with dogbones instead of UJ or CVD... something to do with cut cost?

Hi guys,

Can someone post a photo of orientation of the carby on your SRX8? I slap my Picco Boost 5TR and the throttle is soooo close to the center diff housing, or do I need to change the angle of the carby.

Also how do you position your throttle linkage? it's soooo close as well on the center diff housing.

Thanks

On the motor I most recently put in my buggy (Fusion X5), I had to trim the center diff cover a little to make clearance for the carb. It is a squeeze, but with some adjustments and maybe a little trimming the tight fit wont cause problems.

Thumbs up

You don't see many pictures ...

The B2102 is about to be tested with a B2101 crankshaft and 21J carb. Also fitted is the AMR backplate which boost low end torque and high end power - Fab.
