How much lighter is the ultralight chassis over the stock chassis?

I don't have the exact weight difference but it is a noticeable difference when you hold both.

QUICK QUESTION.....alloy front spindle and casters.....are they worth the price tag? my local track is fairly smooth as it also runs 1/10 every other fortnight......do they help with steering response? I'm already running the top alloy servo saver and alloy top steering plate.
cheers Aaron

Does anyone know the part number for the shorter rear center drive shaft. This is to be used when the rear gear box is moved forward on new chassis.

Also, if anyone knows the measurements for that drive shaft, end to end.

I only use the alum spindles. I have had no reason to use alum casters yet, but will be using them this winter as we have a few races in the cold.

I don't know the measurements but the shaft comes with this tuning kit. In asking, drivers use Tlr342002 for this.

Spoke to Horizon yesterday. They have told me the same thing. That is the part number for the option dog bones and cups for the rear axles. If that is the case, that is fine, just want confirmation it is the same.

I put one of those in last night, there seems to be a lot of play in the dog bone (space in the front center diff, and rear diff cup).

If anyone has a picture of theirs that I can compare.

Thanks

I don’t have a picture but I can agree that there is a lot of spare room with my dog bone in the center rear drive. I use the cups n bones like your talking about and I’ve actually thought I built my car wrong before cause I never realized how much the dog bone can move. It’s moves like a half n inch back n forward.

The bone that comes in the tuning kit that is used for when the gear box is in the forward position come with TLR342002. It is around 92.9mm pin to pin.

For those that have tried them are the upgrade brakes worth the price tag?.....the brakes do seem a bit hit and miss during a longer final.....

Cheers Aaron

Can you just slap on the upgraded chassis to a 3.0?
