Get the CNC knuckles if you happen to strip screws on the stock ones. That has also happened for few people I know. I think I had the same on my TR.
Double the carbon shock towers. I'l post a pic when I get a chance.

I have a Matrix FRE edition with some CNC stuff towers knuckles stiffners and threaded shock bodies also the cross pin conversion I built this buggy right it has a C5 motor not quite fully broken in with a JP-3 pipe starter box from ofna airtronics 200 oz in servos this buggy has less than a gallon through it all. I also have a new in package body for it along with the one I used. I would like to sell it or trade for a novak GTB and motors and or MRC academy GV2/SBV2 cars. Nitro just is not for me been racing for many years just don't like nitro.

I will get some pics and put together a price, everything I have mention for this buggy above was bought new for it to be built.

PM me please

I'm sure you can do that but the weight savings are questionable.

Ok guys, how do you feel about the list of changes to make the car lighter? Haven't heard you guys since (except Kurly). Not enough magic there?

I would have to say that if you could save drive-line weight that is very important. That is what controls the acceleration on the car. Also helps in the control of the car over jumps. As far as weight on the arms or towers I think that is personal preference. My opinion only.......some might agree or disagree but thats what were here for. And yes I agree a heavy car is very easy to drive........

I always drive the cars that are heavier better (Mugen,OCM)I went to the RC8 and it just didn't feel planted granted I was fast with it I just could be consistent with it like I can with a heavier car.

I shaved some weight off my driveline by using Kyosho Titanium universals with Kyosho diffs. I tried to use the titanium front and rear CVDs/axles but they didn't fit into the axle bearings to well.
