Im still debating amongst myself about making a switch to the LTC gears to see how it would perform.

What type of track conditions have you been racing on?

Is the difference really that noticeable?

I would just stick with the stock chassis. The M2C chassis is nice, but to me not worth the extra money.

Hey guys

Looking at the setup sheets, looks like they’re mostly running the Mugen fronts 75/7.75T and Hb Orange in the rear.

I cant seem to find the mugens? Are they the E0573?

What size are they using for the rears? I can only find 76mm and those are more front springs.

The 83mm HB springs are part #HBS113476. In some places, they are labeled as "brown" instead of orange for some reason. They are the same spring though.

A noise started happening on my rc8t3.1 that sounded like something in the rear diff slipping and I took the diff out and the diff itself seems fine, bearings could be replaced, but not the issue. Could it be the pinion slipping on the ring gear and in need of a new pinion? Lots of metal shavings in that area but I doubt it came from the ring gear.

Check pinion and ring gear, I would replace pinion.

Then try shimming like this.

Make sure its very snug, almost to tight. Run a pack or tank and recheck.

I got a question too, I've heard the cva's are stronger then the universals. Can I use the rc8t3 front knuckles and rear hubs with the cva's? Just trying to figure out if I need t3.1 front knuckles/rear hubs. Searching on AMain it looks like there's only 1 set of rear hubs/front knuckles.
1 more thing what size bearing is needed with the cva's? 15x21x4?
Thanks for any help
