If I had to guess I bet it will be at least a few months yet. AE announced the new b3 buggy months before it even hit shelves... and there's still nothing about the truggy. That's my guess anyway. You could always get a mbx7tr if you want a new truggy.

Go to this website everyday: https://www.teamassociated.com/

That is where you'll hear about the new truggy release first. A new touring car just got released, they'll probably wait a few days before announcing the next kit.

Don't thank him! He's just being a smartazz! Of course you can check the Associated website daily. I'm sure you were just seeing if anyone on RCTECH had any inside info. Responses like that are the reason this forum is dying. People ask questions and just get a smartazz response. So what's the point?

I'm hoping for stronger spider gears. I keep having to replace the spider gears in the rear of my RC8T. I'm running the LRP .30x. When I first got this engine it would melt the clutch shoes pretty quickly, I'm talking less than a tank of fuel. This was the stock clutch with Aluminum shoes. I got the BuKu clutch with composite shoes, clutch problem solved. Now I keep eating spider gears. I've had to rebuild the rear diff 4 times in the last 2 gallons of fuel. The ring and pinion is always fine. It's the spider gears in the diff cup. I've gone from 5,000 wt. to 100,000 wt. in the rear with pretty much the same results every time. The gears alway wear the teeth down and slip past each other. It turns the diff oil silver. I'm shimming the gears according to the factory instructions. They always feel great when I rebuild them. The bearings are new as well as I use a new cup every rebuild. The only constant is the torquey ass .30x engine. I'm thinking I just need to get a good .21 to run in this truck and try the .30x in something else.
