Default What's this torsen diff supposed to do?

I'm building Jammin X1-CRT and got OFNA Torsen diff for it and put it in the front.

When I turn one wheel on one side, I notice it acts the same as a standard diff.

Not finished building yet so I haven't had a chance to drive it but from what I can see so far, there isn't any difference.

The package this diff came in even says "Super Torsen".

So can anybody tell me what's "super" about it?

It sends more power to the outside wheel on power when turning. It will make the steering extremely aggressive on and off power. The truggy will probably strip the gears out in the torsen too.

These diffs aren't good in a Truggy?

For buggies only?

Too much stress on the internal gears in a truggy due to larger tires and more weight. The jammin truggy is pretty heavy too.

The torsen diff is supposed to act like a thin diff off power, and a thick diff off power. In theory, this is supposed to maximize overall steering. In practice, they lock up and do weird things, and aren't consistent.

They aren't consistent?

They can't handle a lot of stress? Mentioned by someone else on here.

SO...

Did I spend big money on something I shouldn't have?
