I may be mistaken ... but Im pretty sure this will be released in the USA via OFNA as the new ULTRA LX3 [ yes I know the old Ultra Line was a Hong Nor model ] OFNA owns ULTRA name - since Hong Nor is in limbo and has elected to attempt distro in USA on their own and not OFNA, we get a Hobao based Ultra buggy.

The Hyper 8 front upper arms in the pic tell the tale ...

H8 upper front arms.. I remember seeing a few H8 ideas in the first version of the JQ car.

When was the last 1/8 nitro buggy from the OFNA/HongNor/ Hobao line that was competitive in racing? I know I bought the Hyper 9 because of all the hype surrounding it and was utterly disappointed. This should be very underwhelming

maybe the H8/8.5 line was their best., it was a nice buggy back in the day, was somewhat heavy but it ran good

AFAIK the first JQ proto was a modded Hyper 8.
