Hey guys,

i've been hunting for 30% nitro fuel (gallon) and my LHS don't carry 30%, only 20. I was wondering where are you guys buying nitro fuel in Gallons online? everywhere i look they sell a minimum of 4-6 at a time. I don't want to buy in bulk as i don't use the truck that much. those gallons will sit for years lol. I just want to buy a gallon of 30% nitro fuel (vp or werks)....1 gallon at a time.

Buying a single gallon online is very expensive. The hazmat charge makes the price close to 2x what it would be over the counter.

The best bet is to look for it in quarts as there is no hazmat. Personally I purchase bones brew 3 gallons in quarts - no hazmat - free shipping - works out to right at $30/ gal.

Why not just stick with the 20% offered? Its really not a huge difference and if your not a regular Nitro racer its not going to matter..

I too buy Bones 30% with 10% oil. You can order a gallon of it that comes in 4 separate quarts. They come in individual bags as well, nice for longer term storage. Shipping on the gallon is not free but it comes in at about the same price as fuel costs locally per gallon. Good stuff, both my currently running engines run great on it.

i am buying Bones 30% with 10% oil. It comes in 4 quarts containers. It is awesome fuel.

Have you asked them to order some in for you? Thats what I did and they got 6 gallons of 30% in and I bought two for about 25 bucks a piece. As some one else said you cant buy single gallons on line. The hazmat fees are outrageous to say the least. MJ

If you're local hobby shop is worth a damn, they'll order a case of 30% the next time they place an order if you ask them to. Everybody seems to love Bones though, so that may be your best option.

I get mine from Amazon 37.00 gal free shipping. I use 20% but 30% is the same price.

I have used Torco which is available on eBay with no shipping fee. Pretty decent fuel but it seems to be a little more smoky for some reason. The LHS had 30% byrons race last time I was there so I bought a few gallons and have been running that. I really like byrons fuel.

Byron's is excellent stuff for sure. I ran it for years until now. What prompted me to go with Bones is the fact that VP is all my LHS stocks these day and since they would have to order Byron's, I may as well order my own as it is the same price. They will order it if I want it, though.

cool i just bought a gallon of 30% VP Pro power master from a lhs that had 6 gallons in stock for $26.00 bucks a gallon. They where selling it for 20 but that was a year ago! you snooze you lose!
