Here's my new 2 speed Nitro Slash. Novarossi 2.5 engine/pipe combo, 17mm adapters, and metal gear servos. Should be a fast, fun basher as soon as my tuned pipe mount and body arrive in the mail. I hate when something small like the pipe wire mount is the only thing keeping it from being fired up and ran....

If it uses a wire pipe mount then just cut a wire coat hanger, bend it to shape & make your own mount for the tuned pipe.

Good idea on the coat hanger. BTW, if anyone wants details on the Jato tranny install, it's really fairly simple. The only Jato parts are the transmission and brake/throttle linkage. Everything else is Nitro Slash.

This Nitro Off Road section is mostly used for 1/8 nitro buggies & truggies but I guess it doesn't say its only for these types of nitro cars.

I would love to talk to you more about this mod. I have a fully built and modded RBmods 3.7 nitro slash.. I'm sick of gearing it for my driving conditions all the time. Ive had a jato and know how to tune the transmission to suite my driving needs.

Any videos? And what kind of speed can one expect to see with a 2 speed?

The Jato supposedly hits 65mph with a 2-speed transmission and a 3.3cc engine, so I'd expect a 2-speed Slash to hit similar speeds if the aerodynamic problems of running a very fast SCT are dealt with.
