Tekno...smooth as silk, lots of piston options, stay consistent for weeks at a time.

Kyosho and hotbodies shocks rule.

Of the ones I have owned my rankings
Kyosho (1/8 and 1/10) - Tamiya (Yeah not off road but as good or maybe better than kyosho)
Tekno (SCT ones were butter smooth very less rebuilds required stock)
Xray (1/10 are better 1/8 built older versions 2013 model onroad xrays are the worst shocks I have built can never bleed them right and lota plastic parts)
Losi (1/10 22 series shocks)
The bad ones are yokomo and ae needed lot of upgrades to be decent.
