With the emulsion build, you need the bleeder screw as the shock cap will be fully screwed onto the shock body thereby closing the side hole on the cap, then you're bleeding the excess oil out of the 'bleeder screw' hole when the oil and air have emulsified with the pumping action. Once done, seal it up with the cap screw...

Have a look at the Losi 4.0 'emulsion' shock cap and Tekno's shock cap which do the different style shock types with detailed descriptions of each...

So it's ok that the outer race of the 8x16 bearing is smaller than the inner diameter of the front upright

They are the E2105-B non trailing front uprights. Listed on Mugens sight as upgrade for the mbx7r. Under hop ups. Do you think they were packaged incorrect? I have another set in the package. I opened them and the fit is the same.

Is the bearing pushed all the way in? I think Mugen Drew is right they might be MBX 7 uprights.

Yeah they look like part# 2105 for the 7

2105-b can fit also fit the 8x16 bearing on the inside

The bearing is bottomed out. The package label is 2105-B and according to Mugens sight it says these are for the mbx7r. Also Drake did a video about the inline uprights and 2105-B is the part number. I have 2 new sets and the 8x16 bearing fits the same way in both sets.

Is it possible they were not packaged correctly?

HB wing mount on the Mugen MBX-7R

Which one are the fast guys (Ryan Maifield, Adam Drake, ...) using at the moment at the Dirt Nitro Challenge 2017?
HB Racing V2 Wing Mount (Standard) [HBS114414]
        HB Racing V2 Wing Mount (+10mm) [HBS114415]

It looks like you just need to cut off the brace at the bottom and bend it a little bit with a heat gun to fit it.
Is the Mugen Wing fitting with the original holes?
Adam Drake is using the PL Lexan wing and Ryan Maifield an unknown wing...

i have set 2105-B also coming from nitro house. A-mian has "Note: These carriers require the use of the MUGE2218 Universal Driveshafts and 8x16mm Bearings, as used on the MBX7R" on theres. I thought the hubs accepted both sizes of bearings like the rear hubs.
I will post more this week once they come in.

Please let me know how yours work out. I already have those shafts and the bearing equipped is 8x16. But there is at least a 1mm gap between the outer race of the bearing and the inner diameter of the 2105-b upright. On the inside that is. The 8x16 fits fine in the outside.
