So, the easiest way to get all the new stuff to fit on a 7r is to buy an 8 Even if you bought an 8 chassis, you would need to get the 8 steering posts since they are keyed into the chassis, meaning the 7r steering posts are too short. The steering rack top plate is different, the rear chassis brace mount is different, and so on, and so on. There are just too many small changes to make it worth trying to upgrade more than just the suspension arms on your 7r platform.
If you want to modify your 7r just build a bushing to reduce the bearing on the differential tanks mount the ht with conical gear support wing hb + 10mm and you're ok

Default Fuel tank

Will the tank from mbx7r fit in a mbx6r? It's getting old and I'd like a clunk. 😎

Can some please help me, Im building a MUGEN ONROAD SPEEDCAR.

I tried to buy a kit couple months ago and they were all sold out, so I've been buying piece by piece from ebay in kit bags.

I have a MBX7 ECO chassis #E2405

I bought a front upright kit , its from a MBX-8 #MUGE2021. It came with uprights, upright arms, pillowballs and hardware.

I would like to run UNIVERSAL Front AXLES # E2218. Will these axles work with my Upright kit that i have ? MUGE2201?

I also read some uprights can run optional larger 16MM Bearing? What is the Advantage of that or what application is it for? Wondering if it would be better then standard 15MM bearing for my application , just going straight and fast?

Theres a guy on ebay selling # E2219 axles which are for why rear of the car, he claims they work on the front also and that he uses them on his car! Have any of you heard of this or tried it?

If i have wrong parts can you please advise what part #s i need and what size bearing these uprights these uprights hold please. Im starting to wonder if its the rear hubs that hold he larger bearing ? Don't have manual so this has been a pain in the butt and i just found one here at top of page UGH!

Hey everyone just picked up one of these and had some mishaps getting a battery going. I originally purchased the ProTek 5196 battery but the voltage is too high for my receiver - anyone have any suggestions for a NiMH battery that'll fit?

So far I see these options :
https://www.amainhobbies.com/ecopowe...p-5009/p697562
https://www.amainhobbies.com/venom-p...nr1503/p115679
https://www.ebay.com/p/Traxxas-3036-...6035356&chn=ps

I also have a hump pack that I bought as well that doesn't fit perfectly into my revo that I could possibly use? Any ideas?

I use these. Mainly the Lectron Pro. Both are great batteries at a good price. Never have had an issue with either one of them. They are available on ebay.
