Can I use gas lines instead of the spring? Or will it give it a spongy type feeling in the brakes? I think if your throttle servo has enough tq, it wouldn't be a big deal.

Thoughts?

I thought. If you are pressed for it, you can always cut down some click pen springs (I did that on my first MBX7R)

Hello NoobRacer,

I would like think that Gas Lines or Fuel Lines would be somewhat to "Stiff" for this application.

Cutting a Pen Spring would not be the best thing either because sometimes the end of the spring could go inside the gap between the screw and the Brake Plate opening. If the uncoiled end of the spring go into the gap it could jam the brake system movement.

The best is still a proper Brake Return Spring with a both end coiled properly.

Cheers..

What are the reasons for a squeaky steering? I removed the servo arm, cleaned the steering components and checked for binding. Is it the Servo saver??

9 times out of 10 it's dusty pillow balls. Other high possibility is dirty pins

Hi,
Few pages back, there is a mention of using HB wing mount.
Anyone has the part number of the HB wing mount??
Is it a direct fit to MBX7r??? any mod required??

About shock boots, what other brands of shock boots can I use besides the original???

Thanks.

Most people I know use normal balloons instead of the original shock boots if they don't want to spend the money for the original spare parts.
