Is there a separate thread for the Eco that someone can send me the link to?

0° is the closest you'll get, but I can't think of any reason you'd want to run pro-squat anyway especially offroad where anti-squat really helps with bumps and off power steering. If you're looking for rear traction on power I'd try 3°toe in first.

if you're breaking your mbx7/mbx6 front arms , you can switch to xray xb8 arms ( it's a direct fit )

I wonder if something as simple as boiling the arms wouldn't help minimize breakage?

I tested that on another brand and it didn't work. As I jump and crash a lot for my freestyle jumps, I actually reinforce all my arms woth a home made steel bandage. even with this solution, the mugen arm bends quickly :

but I didn't boil them. I'm not sure that it will make it more elastic...

The X-ray arms are 2mm shorter. Please make sure to add 2mm worth of washers to the pillow alls if you are going to do this mod.

I too have never had an issue with arms. Then again I don't take many tumbles. The only people I have seen have issues always boil down to driver error

i break the mugen arms because i run the heavier eco version and i jump ( see my vids in my signature )

nitro racers run a lighter car and hopefully don't crash too much !

My Eco and nitro both never see any issues. I think it's just that it's not made to be a basher. Mugen seiki is a race brand designed around racers for racers. Not knocking those bashing I just mean from a durability standpoint it was never made to be landing on one arm at a time or tumbling ect so no reason to knock the quality of them

the mbx7r is indeed a fine racing machine. but also a great basher ! you only got to swap those arms.
I appreciate the durable steel parts, the overall big ball bearings ( 16x8x5mm ), the durable wing tower, shocks towers and gearbox, the 2x 4mm screws to hold the motor mount. I didn't find any other 1/8th buggy with all those goodies !
I had to build another rear chassis stiffener though ( now made out of steel ! )

see this vid about crashes. sensitive racers might not appreciate it ! but it's a good proof that the mugen is tough ! I made a good choice
